Proprietary fiber
Increases cut level while maintaining elasticity and fit. Previously, higher cut resistance meant more thickness; with this fiber, the level rises without bulking up the fabric.
Thumb crotch reinforcement
This is the area where most gloves tear first. It is reinforced across all five models in the range.
Touchscreen & breathable
Compatible with screens and terminals. Additionally, the nitrile range offers contact heat resistance up to 100 °C according to EN 407 level 1.
Enhanced durability
Over 20,000 cycles compared to the 8,000 limit of the European standard. Level 4 markings are common; level 6 is rare.

The fabric does the heavy lifting
Beneath the coating lies an 18-gauge knitted mesh —24-gauge on the 61-70—. The QRO™ fiber boosts the cut level while allowing the mesh to continue flexing and breathing.

18 Gauge and 24 Gauge: what really changes
The gauge refers to the number of needles per inch on the knitting machine. A higher gauge means finer yarn, thinner fabric, and greater tactile sensitivity.
More protection is no longer thicker
Previously, moving up a cut level required a thicker fabric. With QRO™ fiber, the protection level increases while the thickness remains the same.
The sweet spot
Cut level D or F with enough dexterity for handling screws, sheet metal, and assembly tasks. This is the gauge for four of the five models.
The closest to working barehanded
The first 24-gauge liner in our catalog. It is the closest experience to working without gloves currently available with a D cut level.
A cumbersome glove ends up in the pocket
And a glove in the pocket protects just as much as wearing nothing. Thickness is the primary reason for glove rejection, even ahead of price.
61-70 OMNILUX: the first 24-gauge liner with cut level D
It is the thinnest model in the catalog offering cut level D, providing maximum tactile feedback. It excels where no other glove can: in workstations where bare hands are used because any other glove is too cumbersome.

What is the environment?
Finer tactile feel and excellent dry grip. OMNILUX and PUROLUX.
Provides grip where PU fails and adds EN 407 level 1: 100 °C contact heat for 15s. NITQROLUX.
How much cut resistance is needed?
General use. Cut hazards are present, but are not the dominant risk of the task.
Critical tasks: sheet metal with burrs, sharp edges, metal cutting, glass, or tasks with recent accident reports.

Both families offer the exact same cut protection. The difference lies in the workstation environment.

This is the most common misinterpretation in cut protection, and the costliest when discovered too late.
Why the marking says 4X42F

- The X is not a zeroThe fiber dulls the blade in the Coup Test, making the result invalid. The standard then mandates marking it with an X.
- The real data is the TDMF means 30 N of cutting force. C means 10 N. The difference is triple the resistance, not just one step up.
- The classic mistakeComparing a 4543C with a 4X42F and concluding the first one is better against cuts. The second position and the final letter measure cut resistance using entirely different tests.
The '5' only indicates how many blade rotations it withstood before the test became invalid; the 'F' explicitly states it takes 30 newtons of force to cut the glove. One is interpreted; the other is accurately measured.
The ANSI marking, step by step
Located next to the EN 388 shield, it provides three metrics, each with its own scale.
- Center · Cut resistanceScale A1 to A9, measured in grams using the TDM method. This new range spans from A4 to A6.
- Bottom left · AbrasionScale 0 to 6, by number of cycles. Level 6 means over 20,000 cycles, compared to the 8,000 limit in the European standard.
- Bottom right · PunctureScale 0 to 5, measured in newtons.
- Why the cut scales alignIt is the same test using different units: newtons in Europe, grams in the US. A high letter in EN 388 correlates with a high 'A' rating in ANSI.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Cut D and Cut F?
The cut level is measured using the ISO 13997 TDM test in newtons of force. D is 15 N and F is 30 N: exactly double. On the American scale, these correspond to A4 and A6.
Why does the marking show an 'X' in the second position?
Because the protective fiber dulls the blade during the Coup Test, invalidating the result. The EN 388 standard then requires an 'X' to be marked and the cut level to be provided by the TDM test, which is the final letter.
Are they touchscreen compatible?
Yes. All five models are fully compatible with touchscreens and smart terminals.
Which should I choose for environments with oil or coolants?
The nitrile range: NITQROLUX 63-80 and 64-80. PU coatings saturate in greasy environments; nitrile maintains grip and adds 100 °C contact heat resistance (EN 407 Level 1).
Are they heat resistant?
Only the nitrile range, and with a strict limit: EN 407 Level 1, which means 100 °C contact heat for a maximum of 15 seconds. They are not intended for handling hot oven materials.
What sizes are available?
From size 5 to 11 in the PU range, and from size 6 to 12 in the nitrile range.
