Vertical lifeline of 40 m in 12 mm polyester rope, compatible with sliding fall-arrest devices. Ends protected with heat shrink sleeve for greater durability and safety in intensive use.

The VERTICAL LIFELINE 40 m, without carabiners 12 mm, is developed for working at height requiring reliability and efficiency. Its 12 mm polyester rope offers high resistance to abrasion and dimensional stability, while the heat shrink sleeves protect critical points, prolonging the lifespan of the equipment.

Design oriented to the professional: upper eyelet protected and lower stop knot sheltered, ready to integrate with sliding fall-arrest devices (altochuts). Its availability in various lengths facilitates standardising equipment according to work height and internal safety policy, optimising costs without sacrificing quality.

Usage suggestions: perform visual inspection before each working day, combine with certified harness and sliding fall-arrest, and select the appropriate length to minimise sag and avoid interference with the work area. Ideal for maintenance plans, assembly and recurrent vertical access.

Safety that ascends with you.

Use cases:
- Work at height in construction and assembly on site (fixed ladders, towers and scaffolding).
- Industrial maintenance in plants, silos, and buildings with vertical access.
- Operations in infrastructures: telecommunications, wind energy and service poles.

Is the inspection of fall-arrest PPE mandatory?

All fall-arrest equipment must undergo a mandatory annual inspection starting from the date of its first use, in accordance with the UNE EN 365:2005 standard. This inspection ensures that the equipment maintains its safety conditions. The user must record the date of first use in the corresponding inspection sheet.

Inspection frequency: Once per year.

Who is authorized to inspect the equipment?

Inspections of Safetop fall-arrest equipment can only be carried out by Safetop or by a Safetop-authorized person.

  • Safetop-certified distributors
Only distributors trained and certified by Safetop are authorized to perform inspections of our PPE. This specialized training enables them to identify defects, monitor material condition, and issue valid inspection reports.
  • Safetop inspection technical service
We offer our own technical inspection service for fall-arrest equipment, exclusively for distributors. End users should not send equipment directly; instead, they must manage it through their supply partner.
  • Safetop-authorized personnel
Safetop provides technical inspection courses for suppliers, enabling them to become authorized inspection centers.
