AIRSHELL TH3 integrates high-performance auto-darkening technology with a dual-flow PAPR system that stabilises air supply and reduces fatigue, even during extended shifts. Its 1/1/1/2 optics offer a clear view of the weld pool, while the 4 sensors with a 0.2 ms reaction detect the arc without failure for smooth task transitions. Ergonomics are addressed with a robust, fully adjustable harness that is compatible with corrective glasses, and a design with 160º side vision to enhance environmental awareness.
In terms of quality and maintenance, the pre-filter prolongs the life of the main filter and the alarm signals when replacement is needed, maintaining PSL filtration performance. Simple DIN 9/13 adjustment and grinding mode extend versatility for electrode, MIG/MAG, and TIG. Fast charging in 4 h and autonomy of 9–10 h (extendable with long-life battery) ensure operational continuity.
Usage suggestions: select DIN shade according to process and amperage; activate grinding mode for grinding; keep pre-filters clean to optimise flow rate; switch to 220 l/m flow in more demanding environments or during peak workloads.
